Tim Westwood is to leave his drive time show on BBC Radio 1Xtra in a shake-up to the network's day-time presenting line-up.
A new weekday 4-7pm show will be presented by DJ Charlie Sloth.
Westwood will stay with the station but present a new weekend programme every Sunday from 7-9pm.
He will continue to present his BBC Radio 1Xtra and Radio 1 show on Saturday nights.
In a statement Westwood said his run presenting the weekday afternoon show had been "a lot of fun and a great experience".
Sloth said: "I'm very excited about being given the opportunity to speak to the nation for five days a week and for the faith put in me by the Radio 1Xtra team."
Charlie Sloth will present the weekday 4-7pm show from September
In other changes to the schedule newcomer Yasmin Evans joins the station to present the weekend breakfast show.
Nick Bright will present the 10am-1pm show on weekends, with DJ Target taking on the 4-7pm slot.
Ben Cooper, controller of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, said: "As 1Xtra nears its 10th Birthday, it's great to be welcoming a new generation of presenters to the station who will take on the baton of championing the best in urban music for a young audience."
The changes will come in on Monday 3 September.
