James Corden says life behind the scenes at the Brit Awards is the "weirdest thing."

The actor and writer is hosting the awards ceremony for the second time and told Newsbeat that it involves a lot of hanging around in unglamorous locations.

He also said that before the show he lives with thoughts of what could go wrong.

The Brit Awards 2012 take place on Tuesday 21 February at London's O2 Arena. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ITV1.
