ABC to remake Only Fools and Horses
US channel ABC has given the green light for a remake of the British comedy Only Fools and Horses.
The show is being written by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley who were behind the hit comedy Scrubs.
The announcement comes 30 years after the first airing of the British comedy on the BBC.
A date for the pilot hasn't yet been confirmed, but if it proves successful, the programme could be turned into a series.
The award winning original series was written by John Sullivan and starred David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst as Del Boy and Rodney Trotter.
ABC have described the show as, "based on the iconic British series, this classic comedy chronicles the misadventures of two streetwise brothers and their aging grandfather as they concoct outrageous, morally questionable get rich quick schemes in their quest to become millionaires".
