Blue Ivy Carter has become the youngest person ever to be credited on the US singles chart.

Glory, a song by Jay-Z which features baby noises from Blue Ivy, entered Billboard's R&B/hip hop songs chart at number 74.

The rapper recorded the track after his daughter's birth on Saturday.

Glory is the highest new entry on the chart this week, which means Blue Ivy has appeared on a hit single despite being less than a week old.

In the song, Jay-Z refers to a miscarriage the couple apparently suffered in the past - something they have never previously revealed.

In a statement on Beyonce's official website, the couple said Blue Ivy's birth was "emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. It was the best experience of both of our lives".
