Amy Childs, Jedward and Kerry Katona are all in the new Big Brother house, being screened on Channel 5 for the first time.
The contestants on this year's version of Big Brother have been revealed. Reality TV star Amy Childs from The Only Way is Essex was the fourth housemate to arrive. The 21-year-old said she wouldn't rule out finding romance in the house.
Last to arrive were Jedward, twins John and Edward Grimes. They cartwheeled down the runway. The pair found fame on the 2009 series of The X Factor and went on to represent Ireland in this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
Kerry Katona was the first celebrity through the doors of the Big Brother house. She told host Brian Dowling: "I'm shaking like a leaf. I'm really, really nervous." Channel 4 axed Big Brother last year after 11 series.
Australian-born "Mr Paparazzi" Darryn Lyons has been a war photographer and is the boss of a major photo agency. The 46-year-old says beneath the flamboyant exterior he's a shy bloke.
American Pie actress Tara Reid said she was a fun girl. The 35-year-old got married earlier this month but when asked by Brian Dowling if this was her honeymoon, she said: "Let's find out."
Lucien Laviscount plays Sophie Webster's love interest, Ben Richardson, in Coronation Street. The 19-year-old said he hoped people would think he was "a cool guy". He revealed his mum had packed his bag for the house.
Sally Bercow, the wife of House of Commons Speaker John Bercow, admitted her husband didn't approve of her decision to take part. She's raising £100,000 for charity and wants to prove she is a "person in her own right".
Paddy Doherty from Channel 4's My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding arrived in the house after Tara Reid. Asked how he would cope living in the house, he said: "I'll just see how it goes. I'm just here for the craic."
David Hasselhoff's former wife Pamela Bach danced to the show's theme tune on the runway before entering the house. She joked with Brian Dowling before climbing carefully up the stairs in her gold, platform high heels.
Model Bobby Sabel, 25, was another housemate who said he wouldn't rule out a Big Brother romance. He admitted he was "a car crash" where women were concerned and never said the right things.
