Brighton band The Kooks have unveiled a comeback single from their forthcoming third album Junk Of The Heart.

Is It Me will be the first release from the band's follow-up to 2008's Konk, which they recorded in New York and London.

Junk Of The Heart is their first album since bassist Max Rafferty left following problems with drugs.

The single was premiered on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show and will be released on 4 September.

The band will play a nine-date UK tour in the autumn, which kicks off at Barrowlands, Glasgow on 30 September, and finishes with a gig at the O2 Academy in Brixton, London.
