A man saves a bride in China who tried to jump out of a window after her fiance walked out on her.
A bride whose fiance walked out on her before their wedding day has been saved by a man after trying to jump out of an apartment block in China. Li Wan sat crying on a 24-metre (80ft) high ledge for two hours before deciding to leap.
Crowds gathered below the apartment block in Changchun. Friends and neighbours were hanging out of nearby windows trying to talk to the jilted bride, who had also slit her wrists, out of the seventh-floor drop.
The 22-year-old was eventually saved by a passing care worker. Guo Zhonghan managed to catch her wedding gown and then pulled her back in through the window. She was then taken to hospital but wasn't injured.
