Westminster City Council in London has funded a centre where drunk people picked up by paramedics are taken to be kept safe and away from clogging up busy A&E rooms.

Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack visited the centre on a busy Friday night.

The full programme is on BBC Three on Monday 17 January at 9pm in Ready Steady Drink.

Newsbeat will also be investigating the affects of alcohol in a special booze week starting on 24 January.
