Cameron and Cruise try to reveal The Stig's identity
We finally know who is Top Gear's The Stig.
The High Court's refused the BBC's request to block the publication of a tell-tale autobiography.
Ben Collins is the man behind the book that will see him come out as The Stig.
Racing driver Ben Collins claims he's been The Stig for 7 years
In a statement following the ruling, publishers Harper Collins said: "Ben Collins has a great story to tell about his seven years as The Stig."
They're calling the book 'The Man In the White Suit.'
But the BBC is staying tight lipped. It will neither confirm nor deny he was or remains The Stig.
Secret hearingThe court case itself was held in secret.
It's because the barrister representing the BBC, Richard Spearman QC, said the press and public should be excluded from hearing the legal arguments.
Agreeing that it was right to proceed behind closed doors, the judge said publicity would defeat the reason behind the hearing.
The BBC claim revealing the name of Top Gear's mystery test driver will spoil the show for viewers and say The Stig can't be unmasked as he's signed a confidentiality agreement.
The book's publishers have criticised the corporation for using licence fee money to try to block it.
