Arcade Fire have played their first UK gig for three years, and said they're in a "really healthy place" ahead of the release of their third album The Suburbs in August.

Newsbeat's music reporter Greg Cochrane spoke to the band backstage at London's Hackney Empire a few hours before they made their comeback.

Lead singer Win Butler and vocalist Regine Chassagne talked about "being excited" to be back, avoiding the internet buzz, and how recording their Depeche Mode/Neil Young-influenced new album felt like being at "summer camp".
