Robyn has collaborated on a new track with Snoop Dogg describing the rapper as "gangster - but down to earth".
The Californian star features on the Swedish pop singer's forthcoming new mini album Body Talk Pt II.
The Dancing On My Own singer has revealed an elaborate plan to release three albums in 2010: Body Talk Parts I to III. Snoop features on the forthcoming second instalment.
Speaking to Newsbeat she said: "I've been a fan of his since I was about 12 - I was super star struck."
'Cool guy'She added: "That collaboration came about after we met in LA. We just hung out and were talking about music and realised it'd be nice to do something together.
"He turned out to be this really cool guy - funny and smart.
"I was expecting him to be gangster and he was - he is also a really nice person."
Robyn, who has already released the first part of the series Body Talk Pt I, explained why she'll release three new studio albums in 2010.
"It was just an egotistical thing where I wanted to have more fun and also make music more often than I usually do when I'm on tour," she said.
"I'm trying to find a way to be organic in the way I'm making records.
"I'm working on the second album now whilst I'm touring. I've never done it like that before - it's really exciting."
