Steel Panther

Steel Panther are one of the latest additions to this summer's Download festival.

The tongue-in-cheek rockers play the second stage on the final day of the Donington event.

Organisers have bumped the LA band further up the line-up after their crowd-pleasing performance on the third stage in 2009.

The festival takes place from 11-13 June with AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith headlining.

Also on the bill at the hard rock event are Dave Grohl's Them Crooked Vultures, 30 Seconds to Mars and Deftones.

Others acts announced include Saxon, HIM and Airbourne with day tickets for the event on sale now.
