Screaming fans spent hours waiting for the arrival of Twilight actor Robert Pattinson at the UK premiere of his latest film, Remember Me.
Twilight star Robert Pattinson was mobbed at the UK premiere of his latest film, Remember Me, in London's Leicester Square. The 23-year-old actor spent nearly two hours signing autographs while fans chanted his name.
Robert Pattinson stars in the film alongside Lost actress Emilie de Ravin. The pair play a young couple who fall in love while each coping with a family tragedy in New York. Life starts to look up for both of them before it goes wrong again.
Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack wore a white minidress to the premiere. Robert Pattinson says he's still getting used to his popularity: "I never go to places where crowds congregate, so it's always a novelty. It's a separate aspect of my life."
Harry Potter actor Tom Felton went for a more casual look with T-shirt, jacket and jeans. He said his girlfriend forced him to go: "This is my first real experience of seeing him [Robert Pattinson] outside of the franchises. I'm very excited to see it."
Carl Barat donned a suit for the red carpet. He's recently appeared in a few films himself including Telstar: The Joe Meek Story but says he's not expecting similar crowds in future: "It's not my chief intention. It's not my goal. But I wouldn't grumble."
Singer Lemar also turned up in a T-shirt and jacket. He said he didn't expect so many fans to be there: "The turn out is ridiculous. I thought, 'I'm going to quickly go round the corner and see a movie'. A lady told me she'd been waiting for 32 hours."
Thomas Sangster, of Nanny McPhee and Love Actually fame, went for a tailored suit for the red carpet. The 19-year-old actor recently played the part of Paul McCartney in Nowhere Boy.
Kiss Kiss singer and former Neighbours star Holly Valance also put in an appearance at the premiere. Remember Me also stars former James Bond Pierce Brosnan and Chris Cooper from The Bourne Supremecy. The film opens in the UK on 2 April.
