The first 50 gamers to get into the European launch of Final Fantasy XIII in costume will win a free game soundtrack. Jaqueline Finch's Final Fantasy name is Juggler Moogle. "He's completely ridiculous."
Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy's producer, has flown in from Japan to sign copies and meet the series' dedicated fans. Becky Drury's Final Fantasy name is Yuna. "Yuna was in both Final Fantasy X and X-2. She's a summoner."
The latest instalment in the long-running, Japanese role-playing game franchise has already sold five million copies. David Jennings' Final Fantasy name is Vincent Valentine. "Vincent is from Final Fantasy VII, which a lot of people think is the best one."
Anthony Baker & Gareth Cassidy's Final Fantasy names are Vincent Valentine & Rufus Shinra. "Vincent's back story of how he was turned into a monster by the woman he loved is heartbreaking. Rufus is interesting because you don't know much about him."
More than a million copies of the game were sold at the Japanese launch. Nida and Molly's Final Fantasy names are Zidane Tribal & Rinoa Heartilly. "Zidane is really fun, he's a monkey boy. Rinoa is charismatic and goes through a lot of changes."
The latest chapter of Final Fantasy promises improved graphics and a reworked battle system for complex chains of attacks. Peter Allan's Final Fantasy name is Zell Dincht. "He's one of the more lively characters, a bit humorous."
Tim Lunn's Final Fantasy name is Hope Estheim. "Hope is from Final Fantasy XIII. He is a nervous young boy, sent to battle. He doesn't want to fight."
