Near miss for women on Indiana train bridge

30 July 2014 Last updated at 11:35 BST

Two women had a narrow escape when they were nearly hit by a freight train on a bridge in Monroe County, Indiana.

The high bridge does not have any space at the side of the track where they could have escaped the oncoming train - but both women survived.

They managed to clamber under the train at the last second and it passed over the top of them.

The train's CCTV captured the whole event, as Simon McCoy reports.
