Idaho governor debate goes viral

16 May 2014 Last updated at 18:46 BST

"You have a choice, folks - a cowboy, a curmudgeon, a biker, or a normal guy take your pick."

That was how Harley Brown ended his closing remarks during a primary debate between Republican contenders for governor of Idaho.

Mr Brown along with another participant, Walt Bayes, stole the show as fringe candidates facing off against the current governor and a state senator.

The duo covered a range of topics like discrimination against biker gangs, killing endangered species, and driving a taxi at night through the state's capital.

Since the debate took place it has become an online sensation.
