Derailed US train bursts into flames in Lynchburg

Amateur footage has captured the moments after a freight train carrying crude oil derailed and burst into flames in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Hundreds of people were evacuated from a number of buildings in the city after the incident on Wednesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported.

Video showed tankers in the nearby James River, with reports some oil had leaked.
