Chemical spill causes water supply struggle for US residents

Up to 300,000 people in the US state of West Virginia have been left without clean drinking water for almost three days.

A chemical spill near a water plant has contaminated the Elk River, forcing schools and businesses to close.

It is not yet known when the water supply will be safe again.
