Edward Snowden did not take classified files to Russia

Edward Snowden went on the run earlier this year, taking with him vast amounts of secret information belonging to the US government's security services.

Now, in an interview with The New York Times, the former intelligence contractor insisted he did not take any classified documents to Russia.
