Barack Obama remains sceptical on Syria plan

US President Obama has said he will go along with a Russian plan for Syrian chemical weapons to be placed under international control, as long as the move is not a stalling tactic.

The US, UK and France are to table a UN Security Council resolution to call on Syria to agree to the destruction of its chemical weapons stockpiles.
