Philadelphia building collapses, 'trapping' people in rubble

At least one person has been reported killed and more than a dozen injured after a building collapsed in the centre of the US city of Philadelphia.

City fire commissioner Lloyd Ayers said a four-storey building fell into a two-storey that contained a Salvation Army shop full of customers.

The collapse happened around 10:30 local time (14:30 GMT) in the Center City neighbourhood.
