US official describes Benghazi consulate attack

A top US official who was in Libya during a deadly attack on the US consulate in Benghazi has given the first public account of the event.

Gregory Hicks, deputy chief of mission in Tripoli, described events on September 11 2012, in testimony in a committee of the US House of Representatives.
