US gun rights lobby group meets in Texas

The US gun rights lobby, the National Rifle Association, is holding its first annual convention since a massacre in December at a school in Newtown, Connecticut, revived the debate on firearms.
Around 70,000 members are expected to attend the three-day gathering in Houston, Texas, which will also celebrate the recent defeat of gun control proposals in Congress.
