Family tragedy unfolds in Boston Marathon attacks


Two explosions at the finishing line of the Boston Marathon have killed at least three people, including an eight-year-old boy.

More than 140 were wounded, 17 of them critically. Around 23,000 people entered the race, from more than 90 countries.

Boston Globe reporter Kevin Cullen told BBC Ulster about one family who were caught up in the explosions.
