John Kerry holds talks with Syrian opposition
US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Rome for his first meeting with key figures in the Syrian opposition.
The Syrian opposition agreed to attend the international summit after the US and UK "promised specific aid" to the Syrian people.
Mr Kerry, who succeeded Hillary Clinton, is on an 11-day tour of Europe and the Middle East.
