Obama praises Medal of Honor hero Clinton Romesha
US President Barack Obama has presented the Medal of Honor to a former soldier for his leadership and bravery when his isolated base was attacked by insurgents.
Mr Obama called the battle at Combat Outpost Keating one of the most intense battles fought during the war in Afghanistan, at the ceremony for Former Staff Sgt Clinton Romesha, 31.
The veteran now lives with his wife and three children in Minot, North Dakota, where he works in oil-field safety.
