Militant Islamists attacked the heart of the Algerian economy when they targeted the In Amenas gas plant in the Sahara this month.

Oil and gas account for 70% of the national budget - so what longer term impact will this tragic incident have on the economy?

And will investors already in the country - or those looking to invest - change their approach?
