Lance Armstrong admits doping to win cycling titles
The cyclist Lance Armstrong has admitted for the first time that he repeatedly and systematically used banned drugs and blood doping to win his seven Tour de France titles.
In an interview with television host Oprah Winfrey, he confessed that he had been lying for years when accused of cheating.
Armstrong said he would spend the rest of his life apologising.
