Newtown shooting: NRA defiant on gun control
National Rifle Association CEO Wayne LaPierre has said that he would not support any new gun control legislation.
In an interview on NBC's Meet the Press he said that previous gun control bans did not work.
President Barack Obama has indicated that he will look to tighten gun controls after 20 children and seven women were killed by lone gunman Adam Lanza in Newtown, Connecticut.
