US school shooting: Police warning to Newtown hoaxers
Police in Connecticut have warned members of the media to beware of hoaxers on the internet who are posting false information about Friday's school shooting.
Lt Paul Vance told a news conference that prosecutions would take place once those responsible had been indentified.
Twenty children and six women died in Friday's assault on Sandy Hook school by a lone gunman who then turned his weapon on himself.
