US Shooting: Vigil in Newtown, Connecticut

A vigil has been taking place to remember those killed in a mass shooting at a school in the US state of Connecticut.

Many residents of Newtown, Connecticut attended the short service at a local church.

US Senator Richard Blumenthal told them that "the hearts and prayers of America are with you tonight".
