Explosion flattens houses in Indianapolis

A huge explosion in the American city of Indianapolis has destroyed two homes and set fire to at least four others. One person has been killed and a number of others are injured.

Dozens of firefighters have been tackling the blaze. Local residents have been evacuated to a nearby school.

The cause of the blast isn't yet clear, though a natural gas explosion is one line of inquiry.
