How superstorm Sandy has affected voters in New York
It has been an unusual polling day in parts of New York and New Jersey, where special measures are in place to help voters affected by Superstorm Sandy.
Alternative polling stations have been set up in some areas - and people are being allowed to vote outside their usual districts.
