Sandy's impact: 'I had three sons, now I have two'
The mother of a young New Yorker who died when superstorm Sandy struck the US has described her son as "a really kind person with a very gentle, sweet spirit".
Marcia Sikowitz's son Jacob Vogelman, 23, had gone to visit a friend in need as the storm approached. Both he and his friend died when they were struck by a falling tree.
Sandy left at least 64 dead in the US, laying waste to much of the east coast. Earlier, it killed nearly 70 people in the Caribbean.
