Storm Sandy: President Obama pledges help to those affected
President Obama has pledged to help those affected by the huge storm, Sandy, which hit the east coast of the US two days ago.
Speaking in Brigantine, New Jersey, which was battered by the storm, he said the government stood with the victims and would not rest until the recovery operations were completed.
He thanked those in the emergency services who had been first to respond to the disaster.
