Storm Sandy: Transport chaos as clean up begins

Help

A massive clean up operation is underway in the eastern United States following the biggest storm for decades.

More than 40 people are known to have died since super storm Sandy battered the coast while more than eight million homes and businesses across 17 states are still without electricity.

Snow is now wreaking havoc further inland with North Carolina, Kentucky and West Virginia worst affected.

Kim Ghattas reports from New York.
