Storm Sandy: 'The streets are full of sand'


At least 40 people have been killed, millions are without power and transport across the north-eastern US has been severely disrupted by storm Sandy.

Ocean City in New Jersey was hit hard by flooding and residents were evacuated as the storm approached.

Michele Gillian, the executive director of the Regional Chamber of Commerce said, "It has been a hard 48 hours for Ocean City".
