NJ governor says focus is on search and rescue

Officials are trying to assess the damage left by the huge storm that has battered the eastern seaboard of the United States.

At least sixteen people have been killed and there has been flooding in large parts of New York state and New Jersey.

The governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, said the focus at the moment was on search and rescue.
