Obama: Hurricane Sandy will affect millions
President Obama has warned of many days of severe disturbances and possible fatal consequences as Hurricane Sandy approaches the East Coast of the United States.
The storm is the biggest to hit America in many years.
But Mr Obama said federal, state and local authorities were well prepared, and urged the millions of people in the affected areas to follow their advice.
