NY taxi driver: 'It feels like a science fiction movie'
Much of New York has shut down ahead of the arrival of Hurricane Sandy, which experts fear may become a super-storm when it makes landfall.
Nearly 400,000 people in New York have been ordered to leave their homes, and the city's transport system has been shut down in preparation for the storm.
