Hurricane Sandy hits Jamaica coast
Hurricane Sandy has hit Jamaica's south-eastern coast, not far from the capital Kingston.
Schools and airports have been closed and a curfew is in place in cities to keep people off the streets.
Meteorologists are expecting between 15cm and 50cm of rain to fall.
