Gary Hart on George McGovern's legacy

The former US presidential candidate George McGovern has died.

He was the Democratic challenger to Richard Nixon in 1972 but his opposition to the Vietnam War and liberal views contributed to a Republican landslide.

Gary Hart, a former US Senator who worked with Mr McGovern on his campaign, told BBC Radio 5 liveUp All Night what legacy he would leave behind him.
