US election: Vice-president candidates clash in debate
Following a lacklustre performance by President Obama in the first televised debate in the US elections, it has been the turn of his vice president to make the latest pitch for votes.
In a televised debate, Joe Biden clashed repeatedly with his Republican challenger Paul Ryan over issues including Syria, Afghanistan and the state of the US economy.
