US candidates set out plans for the economy

Barack Obama and Mitt Romney have been setting out their plans for the US economy, in a televised presidential debate at the University of Denver.

President Obama praised "the resilience of the American people", while his Republican challenger said he would "restore the vitality that gets America working again".
