Mitt Romney secret video reveals views on Middle East

The Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat, has condemned comments by the Republican candidate for the US presidency, Mitt Romney, as "absolutely unacceptable".

In a video clip made public, Mr Romney tells wealthy donors in Florida that the Palestinians have "no interest whatsoever" in peace with Israel.

In footage from the same event in May, which was released earlier, Mr Romney said 47% of Americans regarded themselves as victims, dependent on government.
