9/11 attacks: US commemorates 11th anniversary
Ceremonies have taken place in the United States to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on New York and the Pentagon in 2001.
The focus this year has been on the relatives left behind.
In New York, the names of the nearly three thousand who died were read out, along with a minute's silence to mark the exact moment of each attack.
The BBC's Barbara Plett reports.
