Obama: 'Path forward not quick or easy'

US President Barack Obama has spoken of the challenges ahead in his closing speech at the Democratic National Convention.

He said: "Our problems can be solved, our challenges can be met."

He added: "Yes, our path is harder, but it leads to a better place."
