US Gulf Coast braced for tropical storm Isaac's arrival
US Republicans have opened then immediately adjourned their national convention in Florida, amid concerns over Tropical Storm Isaac.
Isaac is expected to strengthen to a category two hurricane before making landfall between Louisiana and Florida.
