Wildfires rage through northern California

Thousands of people have been ordered to leave their homes in northern California as authorities battle to bring wildfires under control.

A number of buildings have already been destroyed, and high winds are helping the spread of the flames.

It is not yet clear what started the fire, but officials say it is likely it was caused by lightning strikes.

Naga Munchetty reports.
