Bulldog's sharp encounter with porcupine
In Oklahoma, a bulldog is recovering after a sharp encounter with a porcupine which left her stuck with some 500 quills in her face, paws and body.
Bella Mae frightened the animal when it wandered onto her owner's property, leaving her and two of the family's other dogs in need of emergency veterinary treatment.
Owner Allison Noles said she could not imagine "the intense pain" the dogs would have been in.
